I joined Style Acre in 2002 as a volunteer following work experience with Sixth Form. I enjoyed being at Style Acre so much supporting adults with learning disabilities that I did not want to leave, so I joined the team as soon as I could by becoming a Support Worker. Since then I have progressed through the organisation to my position now as Deputy Director of Operations for Supported Living. With my new role I am now the registered manager with the CQC.
Through my years at Style Acre the charity has grown tremendously, while still keeping the focus on the people we support, ensuring they have quality and fulfilled lives. The highlight of my career at Style Acre is when we were recognised by CQC as outstanding; I am very proud to have been a part of this, and excited for the future of Style Acre.
