Ways to Wellness

Wellbeing and wellness for those with learning disabilities and autism in Oxfordshire

Our Ways to Wellness programme brings wellbeing and wellness for those with learning disabilities and autism in Oxfordshire to the forefront in a fun and accessible way.

Wellbeing and wellness is important in everything we do at Style Acre, and we care deeply about the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone in our community.

Our Ways to Wellness programme aims to help people reflect on what wellbeing means to them, consider how they can maintain and improve their own wellbeing, set goals and take action, and inspire others by sharing their experiences.

Move, Grow, Nourish and Connect

We integrate these four Ways to Wellness categories into everything we do at Style Acre, and encourage people to find things they enjoy doing regularly that fit into each category.

Move… by getting active through sports, dance and other activities.

Grow… by learning skills to develop as a person and enjoying therapeutic hobbies.

Nourish… by caring for yourself and enjoying the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Connect… by reaching out, giving back and working together to build and maintain relationships.
