Hello I am Anna and I am one of the supported living operations managers.
I have worked with adults with learning disabilities since 1996 – 30 years! After leaving university I started as a support worker in a registered house supporting 5 people; became deputy manager there after a few years, and then helped those people to move into supported living as the team manager. I went on to manage some other teams before joining another organisation in 2012 to become a supported living locality manager.
I joined Style Acre in 2015 to manage the wonderful T2 Day Hub in Didcot and I am very glad that I took that step because it was a truly fantastic experience! I am now in my third role since joining Style Acre and I have thoroughly enjoyed every role. After 6 years managing T2 I became Style Acre’s performance coach and development manager in 2021 before starting my current role in 2025.
I have got to know countless wonderful people since joining Style Acre. I’ve learnt a lot and had many fun experiences! My highlights have included our 30th anniversary art project / art show last year; talent showcases at Cornerstone; going for walks and various trips; and our Style Acre’s Got Talent show every year!
My own passions include creativity in its many forms and getting to know what makes people tick – working with Style Acre fits those interests perfectly! I am also passionate about all of us having control and choice in our lives, being able to do the things that are meaningful and interesting to us, continuously learning, having opportunities to try new things, connecting with other people, and having fun.
