Style Acre Superheroes and their Sidekicks are getting ready for the Superhero Triathlon at Dorney Lakes in August

On Saturday 17th August, 40 Style Acre Superheroes and their sidekicks will be taking part in the Superhero Series Triathlon at Dorney Lake. Our biggest team yet!

The course is a swim (150m), bike/cycle (3km) and a push/walk/run (1km). Our superheroes and their sidekicks have been busy training on their bikes, round Boundary Park. Doing couch to 5K and swimming at Oxfordshire Lido. With 5 weeks to go everyone is looking strong and looking forward to the event.

We have been very lucky to receive funding from Element Six and their Ambassador for Good Programme which enables us to provide opportunities for the people we support. Helping them to improve their wellbeing and challenging them to complete a Triathlon. The funding covers our entry fees, equipment and lifeguard hire for our training sessions.

The Element 6 team and other volunteers will be sidekicks, there to motivate, support and actively participate in the journey (in training and at the event).
