Sarah’s life has been transformed by Style Acre. She now has a paid job, regular volunteering experience, cooking sessions and numerous social meetings and activities as part of her daily life. In addition she loves her holidays with Style Acre and her visits to Christmas markets where she enthusiastically follows the “shop till you drop“ mantra. Style Acre employees are, without fail, kind, supportive, communicative and efficient. A massive thank you for all you do from Sarah and her family.
It’s not just support our daughter is given, it’s also a social life, work experience, a place in society and so much more.
Our daughter is always listened to
As a family we don’t know what we would do without Style Acre.
I like Style Acre because they help me cook warm tasty meals and we have fun doing the music quizzes.
I like Style Acre because it offers me the opportunities to try new things and it helped me to get a job. My support helps me by showing me new skills to increase my independence, going shopping, staff spend social time with me and support me to meet new people.
They are nice and kind and caring.
Equality is much talked about, too rarely achieved. Of the many remarkable things about our experience of the care enjoyed by our daughter is that she is treated with thought and respect rather than just as someone with “needs. We are so very grateful to the team for creating a life for our daughter that is better than we could have dared dream of. To have peace of mind felt like an impossible aspiration for us. Turns out we were wrong!
Staff understand what I want and need, they are very friendly. They keep me well informed about day to day activities and trips.
It is awesome. Amazing and we play games, activities, day trips and jobs
I like all the staff. I like going out to do things.
My support staff and housemates are brilliant. My home is clean and tidy and I feel safe. I also feel part of a community.
