Our lives would be quite different if T2 didn’t exist! It gives us flexibility for work commitments and leisure activities.

I know when my son is at Turnstyle he is with his friends, and well occupied with meaningful or fun activities. This is something that gives me great peace of mind.

It gives my son an opportunity to have some independence away from home and to meet and socialise with others.  It has an amazing, positive impact on his mental health and wellbeing, and also mine as it allows me to work part-time.

My son regards it as his ‘second’ home – he would go 7 days a week if he could !

T2 try really hard and walk the extra mile in order to tailor activities and opportunities to meet my sons interests and expand his horizons.

T3 gives my son a social life, the staff are friendly, welcoming and supportive. They give him the opportunity to socialise within T3 and give support so he can go out safely to a variety of different places.

My son really enjoys his time at Turnstyle. I think he most enjoys his work placements and gardening as these are the things that make him feel useful and that is rewarding for him.

Sarah’s life has been transformed by Style Acre. She now has a paid job, regular volunteering experience, cooking sessions and numerous social meetings and activities as part of her daily life. In addition she loves her holidays with Style Acre and her visits to Christmas markets where she enthusiastically follows the “shop till you drop“ mantra. Style Acre employees are, without fail, kind, supportive, communicative and efficient. A massive thank you for all you do from Sarah and her family.

It’s not just support our daughter is given, it’s also a social life, work experience, a place in society and so much more.
