BDO volunteer at Station House

Station house (one of a supported living houses) welcomed a team of six volunteers from BDO on Monday 9th September to help with a a spot of DIY!

The team were eager to get going, starting the day by cleaning down the walls and prepping surfaces.

The paint rollers were soon out giving the living and dining room a fresh lick of paint, making them both look fresh, bright and clean afterwards.

Mark cooked up a nice BBQ lunch on his portable BBQ for the volunteer team, Station House staff and people we support to enjoy and to chat to each other.

The day was hard and physical but the volunteers had a lovely time and two of them went back a couple of days later to help put up the pictures and curtain poles.
