The employment support volunteers’ primary focus is to support the person with a learning disability in their work placement. The sort of support required could be helping to work through a checklist or giving prompts to ensure the individual carries out all required tasks.  The role is to support the individual offering guidance and not do the work for them. Placements are mainly local in South Oxfordshire.

Time: Most placements are for 1-2 hours per week and are carried out on the same day at the same time each week.  This would be a regular fixed commitment.
