It was a pleasure to welcome back a group of dedicated volunteers from Vertex last Friday for their annual volunteer day with Style Acre.

As always, the team arrived at our Garden Project with great energy and enthusiasm, ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into some much-needed seasonal work at the Wantage Market Garden.

This year, they helped preparing the garden for the winter and helped us get organised for our plant sale. The list of jobs was long, but the Vertex team tackled it all.

From trimming hedges and turning the compost heaps to weeding, clearing pathways, and bagging up compost — there was no shortage of tasks, and their hard work made a huge difference. By the end of the day, the garden was noticeably smarter and tidier.

We are so grateful for the support from Vertex and love that they want to come back every year. A huge thank you to the Vertex team for their time, hard work, and continued partnership.
