Style Acre volunteers were back at Truck Festival for their third year in the Feel Good Food Hall along with other local charities.
We had 37 volunteers including people we support volunteering over the weekend who sold just under 3,000 portions of chilli and nachos and raising £18,880.
It was hot and hard work but also so much fun. We love being involved in Truck. Not only did we raise a fantastic amount it also gave those we support the experience of attending a large festival, something they may not have had the opportunity to do.
For the first time one of the people we support who volunteered camped over and had the best time. People got to see bands including Nothing but Thieves, Scouting for Girls, Franz Ferdinand, Natasha Bedingfield and so many more.
It was a wonderful experience for everyone and we have already started planning for next year.
