T22U Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels success!
Our meals on wheels team T22U have been busy throughout lockdown making hundreds of delicious meals for people we support. The meals helped people stay safe so they could stay at home and avoid the shops. T22U has also ensured that everyone has a healthy home-cooked meal each day while it may have been difficult for them to have support with cooking or getting fresh items. Additionally, supported living teams haven’t had to worry about getting shopping or making lots of meals so they could fully focus on the wellbeing of people living in our households while things were particularly tough. It’s been such a lifeline for so many!
T22U has been partially funded by our Easter Appeal, but the additional costs have come at a challenging time for fundraising. If you would like to support us, please make a donation.
As restrictions ease, less people have been asking for meals. And now that the Style Acre Tea Room has partially reopened, the team are switching back to baking cakes for the Tea Room! 🍰
