Style Acre Support Worker wins award at Oxfordshire Care Awards

We are delighted that two of our Support Workers were recognised for their hard work and commitment at the Oxfordshire Care Awards 2023 Inspiration for ALL this  year.

The aim of the awards is to recognise and celebrate individuals, organisations, and companies who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within the care sector in Oxfordshire and this  year we had 6 individuals shortlisted and we couldn’t be prouder of our team.

Of those 6 shortlisted, 2 people stood out to the judges and were recognised at the awards event. Craig, one of our support workers won The Community/Home Care Worker of the Year Award which recognises the significant role of the Community/Home Care Worker in consistently providing high-quality care, for people living in their own homes and then Peter another Support Worker was highly commended in Josie’s Award, an award that celebrates an individual of any kind who, in some way, is making an exceptional difference to dignity in care.

We were also delighted that SOFEA, were also recognised for all the work that they do in their communities and the support they give Style Acre and other charities by being highly commended in The Inspiration Award.
It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating all those that give so much to social care in Oxfordshire. Well done to all those who were nominated and shortlisted and to all the winners. You are all amazing.
