Food & Warmth at Maymessy

We’re delighted that we have been able to provide more people we support with the opportunity to attend the wonderful Maymessy cookery school in West Challow.

Two groups have each had three cookery sessions throughout January – learning new skills, cooking nutritious food and enjoying the company and views at Maymessy.

This has been possible as part of a fantastic community cooking coalition, with SOFEA, Down to Earth, and One Planet Abingdon as well as ourselves and Maymessy, funded by the South & Vale Food and Warmth grant scheme.

At the end of the sessions participants got a slow cooker to take with them so they can recreate their recipes at home.
