Sarah Griffiths

I’m Sarah Griffiths and I’m the Garden Coordinator for Style Acre. I joined the charity in 2012 and worked for a couple of years as a Support Worker before taking on the role of Garden Coordinator to develop the Gardening Project at Style Acre.

I manage the Wantage Market Garden on behalf of Style Acre, working alongside our partner organisations Sustainable Wantage and Oxfordshire County Council. I also manage the Green Acre social enterprise and train and work with a team of staff and people we support to maintain gardens in the Wallingford/Didcot area.

I love my job because I passionately believe in the therapeutic benefits of gardening and nature, and in my role I see this on a daily basis.

Prior to working for Style Acre I volunteered and worked for Oxfam GB in a range of Communication and Knowledge Management roles, and completed RHS Level 2 Principles of Horticulture at Waterperry Gardens.
