Day Opportunities Director

Following his degree in psychology Rob took an interest in working with people with learning disabilities, for the past 25 years he has specialised in running and developing day services.

Before moving to Oxford Rob qualified as a social worker. He then spent a couple of years working as a social worker with people with physical disabilities before joining Style Acre.

Rob has worked for Style Acre for the past 8 years; developing day opportunities for people with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire. He is now director of Day opportunities overseeing our 3 community based services based day services and Style Acre’s work development programme and Speech and language therapy. Rob also has responsibility for developing Style Acre trading which includes the Charity shop in Wallingford, the Tearoom in Blewbury and the little bookshop in Banbury.

Rob lives in Oxford with his wife and 2 children and enjoys gardening, cycling, racing and coaching Kayaking in his spare time.
