Style Acre presents a Valentines ‘Auction of Promises’
This alternative online auction is full of Style Acre Promises, all the ‘Lots’ have kindly been donated by staff members, people we support and our social enterprises.
To place a bid head to Jumblebee from 9am on Monday 7th February until 12 noon Friday 11th February.
Why not bid on something for yourself, you supported living house, day hub or even as a gift for Valentines Day.
Prizes to bid on:
Lot 1 – CEO (Chris Ingram) for Sale: Chris has kindly donated 3 hours of his time. Would you like a running partner, someone for a game of tennis, maybe you need a chauffeur or help with jobs around the house. As long as it’s legal and doesn’t need a long ladder, bidding for Chris could be your answer! NB: please allow enough time to mutually agree on a date.
Lot 2 – Cream Tea in a box for four people by T2: bid on a lovely cream tea boxed up and delivered to your house. NB: collection is from T2, didcot or delivery within the Didcot area can be arranged.
Lot 3 – A Wellbeing Morning with Anita Powell: spend the morning focusing on your own wellbeing with Anita! Anita is a qualified massage therapist and cycle trainer, and runs a wellbeing business (Swift & Spry) outside of working at Style Acre. The morning can include any of the following: Sports & remedial massage, relaxing & wellbeing massage, postural assessment, suggestions for exercises to help with mobility and strength, time and space to reflect on and discuss what keeps you feeling healthy and happy, going for a walk, run or bike ride together at your pace, learning tips for cycling safely on roads, learning a bit about the benefits of cold water swimming/therapy. NB: please allow enough time to mutually agree on a date.
Lot 4 – Green Acre Garden Maintenance: our team will come to your house this Spring and do 2 hours of garden maintenance. NB: this prize needs to be used by May 2022.
Lot 5 – Commissioned Mosaic Artwork by Mark E: Mark and his house team will work with you to produce a wonderful Mosaic artwork to hang in your garden or home.
Lot 6 – Hayling Island Caravan Stay: Do you fancy a long weekend away? Why not bid on a 3 night stay at the Style Acre caravan. The Style Acre Caravan is adapted for all abilities and is situated on the very popular Hayling Island Holiday Park in Hampshire. The caravan is fully wheelchair accessible with low level kitchen units, wide doorways and a hoist is provided. There are 2 bedrooms, a wet room/WC, kitchen and lounge area with a double sofa bed. Bedroom 1 – can be made up as a double or twin room, bedroom 2 – twin room only, lounge – has a pull out double sofa bed. Hayling Island Holiday Park is full to the brim with fun activities and stunning Blue Flag beaches. With both coast and countryside within your reach, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out. The park is located near to several fantastic attractions and within close proximity to Portsmouth. You won’t be short of things to do on park either, with both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an adventure playground and even activities like archery. NB: bookings will be according to availability and outside of peak times.
Lot 7 – High Tea for Two at the Tearoom: this lovely high will include scones with jam and cream, sandwiches, other cakes, tea and/or coffee. NB: If you win the prize you will need to book in with the Tearoom 2 days before and it will be served after 2:30pm.
Lot 8 – 12 Hand Decorated Cupcakes by Sarah Stuart: either for a special occasion or just a little treat because you or someone else deserves it. Choice of chocolate or vanilla. Collection from Howbery Park or delivery in the Wallingford area. Sarah says ‘I enjoy baking and who doesn’t enjoy eating a cupcake so for me this was the perfect auction promise!’ NB: please allow enough time to mutually agree on a date.
Lot 9 – Operations Director (Becky Speight) for Sale: Becky has kindly donated 3 hours of her time to deliver to your house some freshly baked sough dough and cinnamon buns (which her husband will be making,) she can then stop have a coffee/chat or maybe you can go for a walk, or ask her to help out with any jobs that might need doing. NB: please allow enough time to mutually agree on a date.
