100K Challenge – 11-13 October

Eight people with learning disabilities and support staff will undertake a 100K challenge around south Oxfordshire over three days.

From 11-13 October, the team – who are supported by Oxfordshire charity Style Acre – will complete a return cycle ride from Blewbury to Oxford, canoe route from Oxford to Abingdon and a walk from Abingdon to Didcot.

Participants are doing this to raise funds for Style Acre, which provides support for 240 people throughout Oxfordshire.

Rachel Knapp, who is taking part in the 100k says: ‘I’ve never done a big challenge before and I’m doing this to make myself step outside my comfort zone. I’m raising money for Style Acre where I have been coming for 6 years. Style Acre has helped me a lot, got me two jobs. It’s given me lots of confidence. I will feel happy to finish!’
